The Myths of Arcane Petals
The Lady of the Lake ⋆˙⟡
Arcane Petals has always been rooted in myth—and if there is one story that echoes deep through its roots, it is the Lady of the Lake.
She is a figure of immense and glittering mystery: offering gifts from the depths of murky water, holding secrets, guiding knights and dreamers alike. She exists between realms, both ethereal and grounded, both comfort and power. I’ve always felt a sense of kinship with her....as though I, too, am forever reaching out from still waters with something shimmering in hand.
For me, fragrance is that which I offer from my lake. Every essence I craft is like a blade lifted from the water—not meant for battle, but for transformation. A scent can be a talisman. A candle can be a ritual. A lotion can be a blessing. These are the gifts I place in your hands, hoping they serve as reminders of your own magic. There is no greater magic than believing in yours.
Jasmine is the Lady’s perfume—the thread tying me to her myth. Its duality of joy and grief, memory and possibility, mirrors her duality: both soft and strong, both comforting and commanding. When you wear jasmine, you carry both the bloom and the depth, the flower and the water it grows alongside.
Arcane Petals is my way of keeping the myth alive. Of reminding myself, and anyone who wanders here, that there is power in beauty, in softness, in ritual. That even in dark waters, blooms can and does rise.
So when you unseal a tin, light a candle, or roll on an essence, imagine the Lady of the Lake’s hand breaking the surface—offering you something unseen, something yours, something eternal. 🌙✨
